Statistics for Determining Relative Strengths and Weaknesses on the Test of Language Development-Primary

Fred M. Grossman

The TOLD-P Manual, although providing much information for making normative interpretations of an individual child's language skills, does not present data relevant to helping the speech-language practitioner determine relative strengths and weaknesses within an individual's own overall language profile. The purpose of the present study is to provide clinicians with a statistically-derived method by which to conduct a more accurate profile analysis of the five major subtest standard scores comprising the TOLD-P.
